On Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2023, Hooters is rolling out the orange carpet and inviting nearly 500,000 Hooters Girl alumnae back to celebrate the brand’s 40th anniversary. For one day only, Hooters Girl alumnae can enjoy one free meal each, with the purchase of any beverage, by showing their Hooters name tag, a photo from their days as a Hooters Girl, or a pay stub. The complimentary meal is Hooters’ special way of thanking these incredible women who've been the heart and soul of Hooters for the past 40 years, delivering that one-of-a-kind hospitality to Hooters guests.
Hooters Girl alumnae can choose their free meal from a special 40th-anniversary menu, available for lunch or dinner at Hooters of America locations and participating restaurants nationwide, including:
- 10 Wings (any style)
- Grilled Chicken Sandwich
- Buffalo Chicken Sandwich
- Chicken Caesar or Garden Salad

To cap off the 40th-anniversary celebration, Hooters is hosting a benefit concert featuring legendary rock band Chicago in Clearwater, Florida, where Hooters first opened its doors on Oct. 4, 1983. The Grammy Award-winning group will perform at The Sound at Coachman Park on Saturday, Oct. 7. Proceeds from the concert benefit Moffitt Cancer Center and Morton Plant Mease Hospital.
